Laminated cardboard boxes
Unlike a simpler folding box, this type of packaging uses thick cardboard, which is then covered with paper, cloth or synthetic leather. This makes the packaging more stable and gives it a high-quality finish.
Even though several steps are automated, complex designs in particular require a great deal of professional manual work. Our production staff have many years of experience with high-quality packaging, ensuring that a consistently high standard is achieved.
All details are implemented exactly according to your specifications, and we will of course assist you with the design if required.
The minimum order quantity for “interesting” prices is 300-1,000 pieces, depending on the design.
Executions:
The best-known and simplest design for laminated cardboard packaging is the two piece rigid box.
However, far more complex designs with elaborate closure systems and sophisticated shapes can also be realised: magnetic closures, flaps, drawer boxes, circular or oval shapes...
For large formats, there are also collapsible solutions that combine the advantages of the fixed design with those of classic folding boxes (low space requirements for transport and storage). These boxes usually have integrated double-sided adhesive tape; once assembled, your packaging remains stable.
Wrapping materials:
The choice of cover material for the cardboard box has a significant impact on its appearance.
We usually wrap the cardboard with high-quality, solid-coloured paper. These are available in a wide range of colours and designs: flat or with one of many textures, finishes (soft touch, metallised, uncoated natural look).
Of course, covering with imitation leather or fabric is also an exciting option.
Printing:
We can implement all technically feasible types of printing and also combine them with each other:
- Hot foil stamping
- Screen printing
- Relief or blind embossing
- Glossy UV varnish
- Offset printing (Pantone or CMYK)
- Laser printing
Inlays:
If you require an insert for your products, we can also customise the interior of the cardboard packaging to your specifications. Various types of inlays are available:
- Fabric or paper-covered insert
- Die-cut foam in various colours, usually covered with flock
- Hard EVA foam, multi-layered
- Food-safe paper and cushion inserts for chocolate...
- Die-cut cardboard, which can also be laminated and printed if required
We look forward to working with you to develop your customised packaging.
